Do you want insight into how certification exams are written, how questions are designed, and how to follow a logical process of elimination to aid you when taking the exams? We’ll go through the process of item creation, what rules writers must follow, and review some sample questions together. You’ll learn to think like the exam item writers, with fun interactive examples. We’ll leave time for Q&A with a veteran of the Microsoft certification exam writing process.
Why I Want to Present This Session:
I’ve got experience writing the last three generations of SQL certs for Microsoft, and while this presentation isn’t specifically for SQL certifications or even for Microsoft certifications, it’s informative for all. I’ve presented this at various user groups, tech fests and SQLSaturday events with great feedback. For the online audience, the interactive part at the end of my presentation will be more text based or just talked through, but I’ll try to keep it flowing quickly.
